Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was the first gymnast to score a perfect 10 in an Olympic event. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci at the age of six. Comaneci would go on to become the Romanian gymnastics coach. Her first competitive event was The National Junior Championships in where she placed 13th in 1969. In 1970, Comaneci won. At her first international event that was an preolympics junior event for nations in the Communist bloc, she took home three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975, she was awarded the All-around Junior Champion. She won four gold and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior that took place in 1975. It was the first time she participated as an adult. She won the American Cup at the New York City Olympic Games and was the first female in history to dismount the bars in parallel with a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Carol Wayne's journey into the realm of entertainment began when she was a teenager. Together with her sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol started her career in entertainment in her teens. Her first job was as a figure skater performing with her younger sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around known as Ice Capades. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
