Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for several years. She is well-known for the roles she played in television and films. The audience for her work is the world of Canadian as well as American TV. At the age of Emily was 12 she became fascinated by acting after she visited her sister Katie while filming one of her films. Once she discovered her passion for acting she started taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. The first time she auditioned was with few ads and soon was included in the show Are You Are You Afraid of The Dark A Canadian horror film for children. where she was seen only in one scene, without any dialogue. Her debut break came around the age of 15 when she was cast in the WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performance in Glory Days, a show on WB which ended up being cancelled nine episodes later, caught the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily can also be a professional dancer as well as a photographer. She was listed as one of Teen's top 20 actresses. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
