Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford is an American actress singer and dancer. As a young actress, she appeared in Broadway role, she was the role of Essie Carmichael in Wicked Legally Blonde Hair. She was awarded an award from the Tony Award for Best Featured actress in the Play in the role of Essie Carmichael from You Can't Take It With You. Tony Award-winning actor Annaleigh Ashford is a veteran of her career working alongside renowned directors and actors across the stage, film and TV and she is continuing her award-winning collaboration with a variety of upcoming projects. Ashford in the near future will play opposite Kumail in Robert Siegel's Hulu-exclusive show Welcome to Chippendales which premieres the 22nd of November. Ashford is currently working for Searchlight Pictures' horror thriller Dust which stars Sarah Paulson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. The film is a Hulu Original and will be streamed on Disney DTC. The film will premiere in March 2023. Ashford will return to Broadway and star opposite Josh Groban in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Thomas Kail as director and Jeffrey Seller as producer will serve as the creators of the production. Ashford has most recently played Paula Jones in the new Ryan Murphy FX series American Crime Story Impeachment that is based upon the national crisis that swept across the country. Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp as principal characters in the country's first impeachment trial in more than one century. Ashford starred for two seasons in the CBS hit comedy B Positive. The show was developed by Marco Pennette Chuck Lorre with the famous Linda Lavin Hector Elizondo Ben Vereen. Ashford, who is not unfamiliar with Broadway was awarded both Tony Drama Desk Awards as along with Outer Critics Circle Awards in her role in the role of Essie. Sunday in the Park starring George Wicked and Legally Blonde is among her other Broadway credits. Born and raised in Denver Ashford is now dividing the time in Los Angeles and New York.

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania).
