Jenna Fischer is best known for her role as Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television series The Office The Office, for which she received the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Comedy.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she was raised at St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was attracted by her mother's worship services as she began her career.
After wrapping up The Office, Fischer, who is a trained actress in the theater, went back to her origins. The Off-Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy was directed and written by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. After starring in Steve Martin's most recent play Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she was then invited to appear in at the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's most trusted friend on the real world and Fischer launched with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, 2019. The show quickly was a hit. Every week, it was among the Top Ten in global downloads, with over 200 million downloaded in the beginning two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She is the writer of two books, The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide that details her journey from St. Louis to Hollywood to become a working actor, as well as the upcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office From Two of the Best Friends That Were There (co-authored together with Angela Kinsey) This book provides the story of their greatest friendship and time working in The Office.
