The police are conducting an investigation after the body of a malesuspected to be a the local rapper WizDaWizard The body was discovered near a residence Friday morning in Hallandale Beach. The body was found by police at the home near Northwest 6th Terrace & 10th Street at around 8 a.m. Social media posts claim the victim was rapper WizDaWizard. Hallandale Beach Police has not given the name of the victim or revealed the reason for his death. They have noted that the "unusual circumstances of this incident" require them to keep their distance. "He is well-known in South Florida, however, due to the integrity of the investigation as well as the correct notification to the family members, we're not going to release that at this time," said Captain Megan Jones of the Hallandale Beach Police Department. Residents told NBC 6 no one has lived at the home near where the body was found for the last several months. Meanwhile, police are investigating the incident after the rapper SpotemGottem was fatally wounded while driving on I-95.
